Dexedrine Addiction
Dexedrine Addiction can cause a lot of problems for an addict. Dexedrine is the brand name for dextroamphetamine sulfate and is a respiratory & cerebral stimulant, and a schedule II controlled substance with a high abuse liability. Dexedrine belongs to a class of drugs called CNS (central nervous system) stimulants. It was initially developed in the 1920’s to treat depression and obesity but wasn’t approved to treat ADHD in children until the 1950’s.
